  • JLL strengthens its capital markets talent pool

    New York -- Jones Lang LaSalle has added another financing expert to its growing Capital Markets team in Dallas. Industry veteran Jeff Zickefoose joins has joined the firm as senior VP. He will work with Managing Director Randy Fleisher and the rest of the team to provide strategic services to clients throughout the region.

    “Jeff brings nearly 20 years of financial experience and a long track record of originating debt on behalf of leading commercial mortgage debt providers,” said Fleisher.

  • Fairway Market to anchor Hudson Yards

    New York – Fairway Market will be the anchor grocer at the Hudson Yards residential/retail complex being developed by Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group in Manhattan. The 45,875-sq.-ft. store will be located in the Hudson Yards South Tower.

  • JLL closes sale and financing at Bella Terra

    Houston — Jones Lang LaSalle has announced the closing of the sale of The Shops at Bella Terra, a 308,828-sq.-ft. power center in Houston’s Grand Parkway corridor. The JLL Capital Markets Group also secured acquisition financing with Wells Fargo and additional equity from Heitman on behalf of the buyer, Dunhill Partners

  • Buxton rolls out analytics for Canadian market

    Fort Worth, Texas — Buxton has announced the roll out of a full suite of retail market analyses in the Canadian marketplace. The company noted that the Canadian retail market has become extremely competitive and will likely see massive retail growth over the next few years. As a new concentration for Buxton, the effort will focus on both U.S. retailers expanding into Canada, and Canadian organizations looking to maximize their footprint in the market.

  • Jamestown acquires One Metro Center in Washington, D.C.

    New York -- Jamestown has closed on the $307.5 million acquisition of One Metro Center, a trophy office building located in the East End submarket of Washington, D.C.

    Close to the White House, Treasury Department and Ronald Reagan Building, the property sits above Metro Center Station, the central hub of Washington’s subway system.

  • Nordstrom Rack to open at Baybrook Square

    Webster, Texas -- Seattle-based Nordstrom will add a new Nordstrom Rack location in the Houston area, opening a 31,000-sq.-ft. store in spring 2015 at Baybrook Square in Webster, Texas.

    The Baybrook Square Rack will be the fourth Houston-area off-price store for Nordstrom. In July the company announced plans to open a third Rack location at Willowbrook Mall in fall 2014.

    The new Nordstrom Rack will move into a space currently occupied by DSW, which is relocating within the center. Baybrook Square is managed by Fidelis Realty Partners.

  • Red Robin plans grand opening in Nyack, N.Y.

    Greenwood Village, Colo. — Red Robin Gourmet Burgers will open a new restaurant at Palisades Center Mall in Nyack, N.Y., on Aug. 19.

    To help celebrate the grand opening, Red Robin will donate all receipts from the first week of sales of its signature Freckled Lemonade to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports research into cures for children’s cancer.

     

  • Stop & Shop to exit New Hampshire

    Quincy, Mass. -- Grocer Stop & Shop said it will close its six Stop & Shop banners and three gas stations in New Hampshire by Sept. 21, marking the chain’s exit from the state.
