HomeGoods joins Whole Foods in the Mayfair Collection

11/26/2014

Chicago -HSA Commercial Real Estate announced that the firm has executed a 22,454-sq.-ft. lease with HomeGoods for the second phase of The Mayfair Collection, which is now under construction in Wauwatosa (Milwaukee), Wisconsin. HomeGoods will occupy the northern end cap of a building to be anchored by a 45,150-sq.-ft. Whole Foods Market.

HomeGoods, a TJX Cos. banner, is scheduled to open the new location in fall 2015, and it will be the company’s second store in the Milwaukee area. The Mayfair Collection is a 400,000-sq.-ft. retail development currently featuring Nordstrom Rack, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, and more. Phase two will add, besides Whole Foods, approximately 50,000 sq. ft. of junior anchor retail space, a mix of upscale bars and restaurants, and a 140-room Hilton Homewood Suites hotel.

The project’s construction consisted of adaptively repurposing functionally obsolete warehouse buildings into new, contemporary retail environments; Evanston, Illinois-based TOA Architects is the project architect for The Mayfair Collection, and Premier Design + Build is the general contractor for the first two phases.
