Polaroid Fotobar to open seven mini-stores in Westfield malls in California

Boca Raton, Fla. --Polaroid Fotobar will open seven “micro-retail” locations in select Westfield Malls throughout California. The 300-sq.-ft. spaces will offer services and products that allows shoppers to turn their digital images into physical prints and framed pieces of art.



"Our new micro-retail stores represent the best of our technology, merchandising and retail knowledge, creating a highly scalable, efficient store model that can be rolled out nationwide," said Warren Struhl, Polaroid founder and CEO. "Two years ago when we launched Polaroid Fotobar, our goal was to reinvent how consumers interact with their digital photography in a fun manner. Now, we have a brand new retail footprint in which consumers can print their best memories for their wall, desk or shelf."



The new Fotobar locations are set to open throughout late October and early November in Westfield mall locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento and San Jose, Calif.



Launched in 2012 and currently operating traditional stores in South Florida and Las Vegas, Polaroid Fotobar offers customers the ability to instantly print pictures from wherever they may reside, often using the Polaroid Classic Border Logo format.



In addition, customers can display their favorite photos through a selection of custom frames, displays and unique photo products crafted from a variety of materials including canvas, acrylic, metal, glass and bamboo.



Polaroid Fotobar locations also offer an array of Polaroid-branded products, including classic and new Polaroid cameras, as well as retail associates known as "Fototenders" who are available onsite to help customers.



The new Fotobar locations are set to open throughout late October and early November in Westfield mall locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento and San Jose, Calif.
