Project Spotlight: 11 Jobs Lane, Southampton, N.Y.

11/3/2014

One of Southampton's most historic buildings, located at a highly visible corner in the village, is available for a new retail tenant, according to Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Retail, which has been named exclusive leasing agent for the building.

The Victorian Gothic-style 11 Jobs Lane sits at the intersection of Southampton's two main shopping corridors, Jobs Lane and Main Street, and offers a prime flagship opportunity. Other upscale retailers in the area include C Wonder, Ralph Lauren, J. McLaughlin, Alice + Olivia, and vineyard vines.

The building offers a unique design, spanning 7,600 sq. ft. over two levels with additional storage space. Originally designed by renowned architect R.H. Robertson in 1895 to house the Rogers Memorial Library, the building most recently served as an auxiliary space for the Parrish Art Museum. It is situated across the street from the historic clock tower where high-end apparel store J. McLaughlin is located and next to the Southampton Center for the Arts.

"Many retailers realize the value of having permanent East End locations along the main shopping streets to cater to the increasing number of year-round residents," said NGKF’s Jeffrey D. Roseman, who along with Andrew S. Weisz is marketing the property on behalf of ownership, the RPW Group Inc.
