RKF announces promotions for trio of brokers

Chicago -- RKF has announced three promotions for brokerage professionals in its Chicago office. Lara Keene has been promoted from senior director to managing director. Since joining RKF in May 2012, Keene has advised a variety of retailers including Allen Edmonds, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, Forever 21 and Fig & Olive, and currently works with Bareburger, Piada, Alexis Bittar, IT’Sugar, L’Occitane en Provence, Rent the Runway and Sam Edelman. Most recently, she secured a 3,400-sq.-ft. flagship for Zadig & Voltaire and an 850-sq.-ft. space for Alexis Bittar on Oak Street. Keene exclusively represents Panera Bread and has been instrumental in its expansion throughout the Chicago MSA.



Elan Rasansky has been promoted from associate to senior associate. He joined RKF in February 2012 and has since secured high-profile lease and purchase opportunities in Chicago’s most desirable downtown retail markets on behalf of owners and local and national retailers. Rasansky has in the past advised retailers like Panera Bread and DMK Restaurants, and currently works with a variety of retailers including Adidas, Batteries Plus, Coyote Ugly, Cyc Fitness, Firestone Complete Auto Care, Glaze Teriyaki Grill, IT’Sugar, Minus5 Ice Bar, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Piada, Smashburger and Snarf’s.



Cooper Annenberg has been promoted from canvasser to associate. Annenberg, who joined RKF in 2013, is involved in both landlord and tenant representation assignments. As a canvasser, Annenberg worked to identify new listing opportunities, maintained the listings database, collected map and market information, and supported the Chicago brokerage team. In the new role, he now represents tenants such as Bareburger, Wing Stop and Batteries Plus.
