Shops at Highland Village to get multi-million dollar makeover

3/4/2015

Dallas -- Trademark Property Co., the operating partner for The Shops at Highland Village, has announced a multi-million dollar renovation of the 352,000-sq.-ft. shopping center that includes enhanced common area improvements, upgraded landscaping, new amenities for adults and children, updated facades, and new signage throughout the property.

“The Shops at Highland Village is on a great trajectory with the recent successful openings of Whole Foods, Grimaldi’s and ThePilatesBarre,” said Terry Montesi, CEO of Trademark Property Co. “We want to make the Shops at Highland Village a more inviting environment to shop, dine and gather, which is why we are investing in these upgrades. We want to keep our core customers happy, and attract new visitors and tenants, and give people reasons to visit.”

Trademark conducted an extensive design charrette last summer at The Shops at Highland Village with numerous architects, place makers, the onsite management team, and city officials to collaborate and formulate a strategic plan and direction for the property. Trademark has created an extensive plan to evolve the property into a best-in-class place to shop, dine and linger.

Located at 1701 Shoal Creek on the corner of FM 2499 and FM 407 in Highland Village, Texas, The Shops at Highland Village serves South Denton County. Anchored by AMC Highland Village 12, Whole Foods Market and Barnes & Noble Booksellers, the open-air pedestrian-friendly center features 11 restaurants and 60 specialty shops including Banana Republic, White House Black Market, Chico’s and Jos. A. Bank. The center is owned by AEW Capital Management and operated by Trademark Property Company.
