Toro Development Company (TDC) is quickly filling up the tenant roster for its Medley mixed-use center in Johns Creek, Ga., north of Atlanta.

The Atlanta-based company’s founder, Mark Toro, leaned heavily on food-and-beverage brands as traffic drivers at Alpharetta’s Avalon center when at North American Properties, and the same appears to be in store for Medley.

Five of the newly signed tenants are gustatorily inclined:

26 Thai Kitchen and Bar; Five Daughters Bakery; the Amorino gelato shop; the Minnie Olivia pizzeria, and the Spanish fine dining establishment Fogon and Lions are on the new tenant list.

Others signed to take residence at Medley are Drybar Shops, the Burdlife jewelry store, the healing modalities provider Pause Studio, and Clean Your Dirty Face, which offers 30-minute facials.

“We have seen insatiable demand from new-to-market and chef-driven concepts who believe in our vision for Medley and are committed to creating something special for the Johns Creek community,” said TDC’s Vice President of Leasing Kimberly Goetz. “Already we are more than halfway leased on the first phase of the retail component.”

Medley will be a 43-acre project at the center of a 192-acre town center development in Johns Creek, a quickly growing suburb about 30 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. In 2022, city officials received approval to more than double the town’s hospital and medical office space over the next 20 years. A Boston Scientific Life Sciences facility with more than 300 employees will be built adjacent to Medley in the town center.

Medley is planned to consist of 180,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and entertainment space; 108,000 square feet of “lifestyle” office space; 340 multifamily residences; 133 townhomes, and an activated plaza.

TDC has already demolished a 350,000-sq.-ft. commodity office building to make way for Medley’s pedestrian-friendly streets, retail, and outdoor gathering spaces. Groundbreaking will begin later this year for Medley, which is expected to open in the third quarter of 2026.

The new signings bring Medley’s retail tenant list to a total of 19.
