  • Three new tenants join Polo Club Shoppes

    Boca Raton, Fla. -- Miami Beach, Fla.-based Terranova Corp. said that three new tenants will open at Polo Club Shoppes, a Publix-anchored center in Boca Raton, Fla.

    Manhattan Joe’s Pizzeria will open a 753-sq.-ft. restaurant this fall; Blo and Go will open a 923-sq.-ft. salon this fall; and Hair Cuttery has opened a 1,400-sq.-ft. salon.

  • Kids Foot Locker opens at Moorestown Mall

    Moorestown, N.J. -- Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust said that Kids Foot Locker has opened at Moorestown Mall, located in Moorestown, N.J.

    The 2,800-sq.-ft. store is joined by such tenants as anchors Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Sears and Boscov’s as well as specialty retailers Zumiez, Victoria’s Secret and American Eagle Outfitters and restaurants such as Pei Wei Asian Diner and Elevation Burger. The Regal Moorestown Mall Stadium 12 & Regal Premium Experience is opening in spring 2013.
     

  • CBRE announces executive appointments

    Los Angeles -- CBRE Group said it has named Cal Frese as CEO of the company’s Americas business. In this role, Frese has responsibility for leading CBRE’s largest business segment, with more than $3 billion of annual revenue and more than 20,000 employees.

  • New merchants join South Hill Mall

    Puyallup, Wash. -- Youngstown, Ohio-based Cafaro Co. said that Torrid, Aveda, Burger Bliss and Mr. Jalapeno will open at South Hill Mall – in Puyallup, Wash. – between now and October 2012.

    Torrid will open on Aug. 8 in a 2,600-sq.-ft. space, Aveda will open in 875 sq. ft. in October, and Burger Bliss and Mr. Jalapeno will open in the mall’s Food Court.

    The 1 million-sq.-ft. mall is anchored by Target, Macy’s, J.C. Penney, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Sears and Regal Cinemas.
     

  • Crazy 8 to open at Independence Mall

    Wilmington, N.C. -- Madison Marquette Retail Services, which leases and manages Independence Mall – in Wilmington, N.C. – on behalf of owner Centro Properties Group, said that Gymboree Corp.’s Crazy 8 brand will open a new store at the mall this fall.

    The 2,465-sq.-ft. store will join Aeropostale, The Children’s Place, Gymboree and Justice in catering to Independence Mall’s teen, tween and children’s clothing shoppers.
     

  • DSW to open at River Forest Town Center

    River Forest, Ill. -- Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based Mid-America Asset Management said that DSW has signed a lease for 28,000 sq. ft. at River Forest Town Center in Chicago’s west suburbs.

    The shoe retailer is taking space vacated by Linens ‘n Things and plans to open in fall 2012 as a new anchor joining The Children’s Place, The Loft, Chico’s, Whole Foods, Panera Bread, Petco and Walgreens.   
     

  • Lululemon to join Chestnut Hill

    Chestnut Hill, Mass. -- WS Development announced that Lululemon Athletica has signed a lease to join the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center, in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

    The 3,100-sq.-ft. lululemon joins other new signings at the 406,000-sq.-ft. center, including Pottery Barn, The Sports Club/LA, Cinema de Lux, Polarn O. Pyret, Shake Shack, Pinkberry, Treat Cupcake Bar, and gourmet Asian restaurant Bernard’s.
     

  • Planet Fitness opens at Capitol Plaza

    Ewing, N.J. -- North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management Corp. said that Planet Fitness has opened a 17,380-sq.-ft. facility at Capitol Plaza, located in Ewing, N.J.

    The 357,000-sq. ft. center is leased and managed by Levin Management.
     

  • A&G Realty brings on two partners

    Melville, N.Y. -- Commercial real estate consulting, advisory and investment group A&G Realty Partners announced that Peter Lynch and Andrew Margolick have joined the firm as partners.

    Lynch joins A&G from DJM Realty, where he was a principal and senior managing director, and Margolick was president of his own firm, ARM Consulting, as well as a former VP at Hilco Real Estate.

  • Dunkin' Donuts to open more than 125 units in Chile, Columbia, Peru over next decade

    Canton, Mass. -- Dunkin' Donuts said Wednesday it has forged an agreement with three of its existing Latin American partners to expand the brand further in the region.

    The agreements call for 133 new Dunkin' Donuts restaurants to be developed over the next 10 years – 38 in Chile, 70 in Columbia and 25 in Peru.

    Dunkin' currently has more than 300 restaurants across Latin America, including more than 200 locations in Chile, Colombia, and Peru, as well as locations in Ecuador, Honduras, and Panama.
