  • Baccarat to open New York City flagship in May

    New York -- Baccarat is set to unveil their newest flagship store in New York City in May 2013 ahead of the iconic brand's upcoming 250th anniversary.

    Located at 635 Madison Avenue at 60th Street, the 2,800-sq.-ft. store -- designed by Rafael de Cardenas -- will be a new global retail model for the brand, showcasing tableware, lighting, decorative objects and jewelry to reflect the richness of the Baccarat lifestyle and the brand's commitment to innovation and excellence.

  • GoldMax opens 50th store in Southern California

    Chicago -- GoldMax USA said it has opened a store in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., marking the chain’s 50th store in the state. It operates more than 200 stores nationwide.

    GoldMax said it has plans to open eight more California stores within the next 30 to 60 days in City of Industry, El Cajon, Los Angeles, Murrieta, Norco, Orange, Rancho Cucamonga, San Juan Capistrano, and Upland.
     

     

  • Macy’s Herald Square unveils new, high-tech shoe floor

    New York -- Macy’s has unveiled the redesigned shoe department of its Herald Square flagship in New York City. Described as the “world’s largest shoe floor,” the 63,000-sq.-ft. space features more than 250,000 pair of women’s shoes in an upscale environment.   

  • Whole Foods opens at Highland Village

    Jackson, Miss. -- WS Development announced that Whole Foods Market broke ground in early November on a new 31,000-sq.-ft. store at Highland Village in Jackson, Miss., marking the grocer’s debut in the state.

    The new store will open in 2013, joining about 50 shops and restaurants at the 220,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use center, such as Mason Weiss, Talbots, Whitehead Street Clothiers, and Albriton's Jewelers.

     

  • Longhorn Steakhouse among four new La Palmera tenants

    Corpus Christi, Texas -- IMI and Trademark Property Group announced that its La Palmera mall in Corpus Christi, Texas, will be joined by a 6,5000-sq.-ft. Longhorn Steakhouse in 2013, along with Papaya, which opened 6,350-sq.-ft. store, and Flip Flop Shops. Pandora will open a 1,703-sq.-ft. store before the holidays.

    La Palmera is a 1-million-sq.-ft. super-regional mall featuring Dillard’s, J.C. Penney, Macy’s, P.F. Chang’s and Coach.

     

  • RMC awarded leasing of Meadow Pointe

    Wesley Chapel, Fla. -- RMC Property Group said it has been awarded the exclusive leasing assignment for Meadow Pointe, a 17,280-sq.-ft. neighborhood retail center situated within a 1,800-acre residential community in the fast-growing Wesley Chapel market.   

    Meadow Pointe is located adjacent to a CVS Pharmacy and has retail space opportunities ranging from 1,200 sq. ft. to 10,500 sq. ft.

     

  • Bruxie among new tenants at Shoppes at Chino Hills

    Chino Hills, Calif. -- The Shoppes at Chino Hills is bringing Bruxie Gourmet Waffle Sandwiches, joining recent tenants Crème de la Crème Bakery, Icy-Licious shaved ice, Sleep Number bed shop, and What Lola Wants women’s apparel at the Chino Hills, Calif., shopping center.

    The 375,000-sq.-ft. community/lifestyle center also features a newly expanded A&M Home Décor.

  • Apple opens at Willow Grove Park

    Philadelphia -- Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) said that Apple has opened a new store at its Willow Grove Park property in suburban Philadelphia.

    The 8,300-sq.-ft. store opened on Nov. 17, bring the total number of Apple stores in PREIT’s portfolio to four.

    “The addition of Apple to this already dominant mall will further drive traffic and sales and allow us to enhance the merchandise mix and quality of the shopping experience at Willow Grove Park,” said Joseph F. Coradino, CEO, PREIT.

  • Nike, Converse, Adidas among brands planned for St. Louis Premium Outlets

    Indianapolis -- Simon Property Group said that St. Louis Premium Outlets, located in Chesterfield, Mo., has moved up its opening date to Aug. 22, 2013, and will be joined by Nike, Cole Haan, Converse, Gymboree, Adidas, Wilsons Leather and Claire's Accessories.

    Other previously announced tenants include anchor Saks Fifth Avenue Off5TH, Ann Taylor, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Brooks Brothers, Elie Tahari, J.Crew, Jones New York, Loft Outlet, Max Studio, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen and Vera Bradley.
